Parece inédito en la política chilena esto de que todos los candidatos anden juntos. Las instituciones públicas y privadas se las ingenian para reunirlos. Y ellos van tomados de la mano, como amiguitos.La Universidad de Chile los juntó para conocer sus propuestas sobre educación. La Sofofa los había reunido quince días antes para analizar el mismo asunto.
Los candidatos tuvieron igual cantidad de tiempo esta vez --y la anterior-- 20 minutos cada uno. Como se esperaba, los discursos fueron los mismos. La única novedad en la U, fue la incorporación de Tomás Hirsch.
Ciertamente los aspirantes a ocupar la presidencia se han escuchado harto entre ellos y cada cual sabe el discurso de cada cual. O sea, se tomaron la foto hace rato.
Me pregunto, si se escuchan tanto incluso se citan entre ellos, ¿no podrían construir juntos un proyecto único de gobierno? Sería un ejemplo de consenso sin parangón, un modelo para la política del futuro. Además ahorraríamos.

A Chilean Utopia
It seems to me inedited in the Chilean politic history: all the presidential candidates together. Public and private institutions invite them to talk in front an audience. They go together there, as all little friends.
U de Chile asked them to attend a seminar, where they could explain about education. Sofofa got them together 15 days before to analyze the same stuff.
Candidates got the same time now and before: 20 minutes each. The speeches were the same, obviously. The only thing new at the U was the leftist Tomas Hirsch speech.
Certainly the candidates have listened among them enough. I wonder if they listen to each other, can’t they build a unique project to govern the country? I would be an excellent example of consensus, a model to the politics of the future. And, in addition to that we could save money.
